I'm super excited for paintball season.

This year, for Invasion of Normandy at Skirmish in Pennsylvania, the team I run with is celebrating ten years playing that game, and we're going to fight with the Allies!

Photoshop. Couple hours on and off. She's messy but I kinda like it that way.

Finally made some art for myself.

 My favorite Red Wing: Henrik Zetterberg. About 1.5 hours... Photoshop.
Also... Good LORD do I want one of those beautiful 2013 winter classic jerseys. So awesome.

twenty minute scribble of some hipster emo guy. he had really blue eyes in the picture.they looked super weird in the painting so i darkened them. probably shouldn't have. but oh well.

I am determined to paint inanimate objects (read: vehicles) correctly. In fact, i kinda had the human as an afterthought. She's def not my best scribbled character haha

Heed my advice: when it is 94 degrees outside, do not I repeat DO NOT go to your un airconditioned notoriously hot studio space.

You will get heat stroke and sport a lovely headache the rest of the evening.

Long week

My computer has crashed. Dead. As I've been waiting for the harddrive to be erased and as we re-install everything, I drew this. I haven't drawn with just pencil in... Forever it feels like.

So, I'm really upset, and losing my mind, but gotta keep going.
as my original file is currently unaccessible and I don't have time to rescan right now, here's my piece with all the type. Cover of the Reporter. It's cropped a bit here. Acrylic.

during another long crit, I drew my fellow illustrator Dan A. He just kept staring ahead, blissfully unaware of me doodling him...

I should post more of these. i draw lots of unsuspecting graphic designers in that class.
