SO I tried a new technique involving acrylic washes, oil washes, and coloured pencil. It was a lot of fun but this is only a first attempt... But GOD was it nice to paint for fun... Took me about 2-3 hours start to finish.

Ink Slinging

After several frustrating, antagonizing, curseword hurling hours trying to figure out Adobe Illustrator, I gave up and made angry watercolour/ink messes of pretty goils. Then I felt much better.

ink messes. per usual.

In caricature today we had a model. And... I feel awful making people ugly. But. I started out semi-realistic. Then it was... scary fetus man. Then red balloon man. Then bluish prophylactic man. haha

Townshend... pre changes.

Before I make changes.
There's a LOT of things I want to change. A LOT of things that bug me to death.
But I've run out of time for tonight.
So yeah, pete townshend, with his windmilling, jumping, smashed guitars, jumpsuit, UK flag, and bloody fingers.
Still feels super sloppy in parts. I'd say this is 70- 75% of the way to done. I'm going to bed.

Like i said, lots i want to change still.
Digital. at this point about 5 hours give or take.

townshend... quarter done.

Gotta smooth out the clothes... give him legs... put in the amps and broken guitars... background....
3 hours in. It's going to be a long night. But my to-do list had been so hectic that I haven't been able to get to this until now. Sadly. Because I am enjoying it greatly.

in class dewdling

I was bored in a liberal arts class. So I doodled. Shocking, i Know.

networking? hah.

More like alien weirdness.
Not my best, honestly. Done pretty quickly. I like the concept of the three faces merging though. In the future, I think I'll try this again, just with more time, bigger, on masonite and with oil.
Acrylic, 11 x 14 on Bristol.
