It happened in corbett's glen... WIP
work in progress. It's 230 am and I'm calling a temporary quits.
The horse is a corpse, of course of course, and I am the corpse that draws the horse.
I HATE LANDSCAPES. I HATE PAINTING TREES. which of course only means that I need to do it more.
Ugh. Thanks to Katherin DeFeo for modeling. And my good buddy Lampon for being gross and gory. Gotta love demon horsies.

Blitzen Trapper
I love these guys. Saw them live last year and it was one of the most energetic shows I've been to. So the tangent between his face and the one flower is driving me batty... If I ever find more free time I'll fix it. And when I took the tape off, it ripped the surface and made it hard to finish some petals. Major anger moment.
Other than that, I had fun.
acrylic, coloured pencil... about 3 hours.

Solzhenitsyn halfway done
So we have to illustrate a theoretical book cover of a favorite author of ours for Digital Mixed Media. I love gory war stories, and I love Solzhenitsyn's work more than most. Go read A Day in the Life of Ivan Denisovich or The Gulag Archipelago. Both are amazing. I have August 1914 upstairs and have yet to read it... So yeah, a tired/sad prisoner in a gulag. Pretty much sums up his work.

Colin... a start.
What I'm farting around with now. For my mum... She's been there for me through some pretty rough stuff lately. And she's got her fair share of stuff to go through too.
So I love pride & prejudice, and the best film adaptation is most definitely the older one with Colin Firth as the lovely Mr. Darcy. I have a cat named Darcy, and that's why. haha So here we have mr. darcy brooding around in a bathtub. pen/ink/acrylic so far. who knows what i'll do to it next.
