this is the manuscript i found in my gma's house. It's explained on there. I"m typing it up on cpu from an old typewriter written manuscript and posting it so it can finally be read.

Tommy Harrell was my grandpa's friend and he survived the Philippines in WW2. He has some pretty amazing tales to tell here.

flesh eatin' demon horsies

yay. For fantastic illustration class, we're s'posed ta screw with a myth or fairy tale.

So I went and took one of the 12 labours of Hercules... The flesh eating mares of diomedes. Go wiki it.

Well, I set it in the bayous of Louisiana. Hercules is a chick. And Diomedes is a voodoo priest. And the horses are... well... half dead, in various stages of decay, and creepy.
